BeatBurguer news preview of 'Lights Out'
New Melodic techno-pop-rave album from The MFA on Traum Schallplatten.
A year and a half ago, The MFA released the “Oranges and Lemons EP", now they announce a new album, "Lights Out", also on Traum Schallplatten.
As they themselves express: “The album is very special to us. It is a long ambition realised. It is an album that can be enjoyed at home and also on the dance floor. We've always been influenced by '90s rave culture and the clubbing scene of that time and the explosion of creative freedom through electronic music that happened back then."
The album encapsulates what The MFA stands for; their love of electronic music, intertwined with their love of songs and melodies. Sometimes uproarious, sometimes pensive, sometimes yearning, occasionally upbeat and happy. Melodic techno-pop-rave really.
On March 3 they will release the single “My Desire” (with remixes by Aaron Hedges, No Point, Harald Björk and Delone) and the album on March 17
